Local Company Donates School Items to Delmont

At the beginning of the school year, Lion Copolymer, a leader in the production of synthetic rubber, adopted Delmont Elementary School as their school of choice. On August 10th, Copolymer’s plant manager Bobby Rikhoff and Brad K. Smothers manager of Maintenance, popped in and talked with the principal of Delmont, Dawn Brewster, leaving wish lists to be completed by each member of the faculty and staff. On August 28th the employees of Copolymer came to Delmont Elementary and delivered all of the items that had been written on the wish lists. Items including digital cameras, flash drives, binders, paper, and even Physical Education equipment were graciously donated.
